Our curriculum was created by passionate teachers and the support of EEC’s Developmental Milestones. Each child has individual goals and challenges to help them strive. We modify work to make it easier to understand while still challenging them & participating in the same activity. We allow them to take there time and will teach things in a variety of ways to give them enough time to absorb and understand. We follow a schedule to help learn routine and dependability. It also helps assure we cover all major areas of development. We have easy transitions in our schedule that help us achieve daily routines. Our teachers are experienced and skilled at understanding and helping children grow and develop. They continuously take classes to maintain and learn new skills. We offer smaller classroom size to give individual attention & make sure we meet each child’s individual developmental growth. We learn by teachable moments, intentional learning, planned learning often engaged by the students as well as teachers. Our curriculum show success, developmental growth and builds confidence. A place where every student feels accepted, supported and most of all loved walk away with a lifetime of memories and new friends!
We provide Early Learning Childcare & Development to help prepare children for school and our world. Our goal is to help as many children as possible get started on the right track on an early education with the right tools for each individual child. Our approach is a combination of Waldorf & Sergio Emilia teaching methods. The underlying principle of the Waldorf program is dependable routine. The daily and weekly schedule follows a constant rhythm. Waldorf emphasizes creative learning, such as play-acting, story reading, sing, cooking. The goal of this system is to develop the child emotionally and physically as well as intellectually. A Waldorf school is good for students who thrive on predictable rhythms. Sergio Emilia schools emphasize creativity and artistic representation. Students take the lead in learning, curriculum consists of projects that reflect the interest of students. Teachers observe the spontaneous curiosity of their students, and then guide them to create projects that reflect their pursuits. Their play and projects are documented in photographs and records of their own words, which allows teachers and parents to follow each students progress and helps children see their actions as meaningful. We also incorporate STEAM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) to stimulate your child’s development. Baby Sign Language is the use of manual signing allowing infants and toddlers to communicate emotions, desires and objects prior to spoken language development. With guidance and encouragement signing develops from a natural stage in infants development known as gesture. Some common benefits that have been found through the use of baby sign programs include an increase parent-child bond and communication, decrease frustration, and improved self esteem for both parent and child. Among’s with positive results, researchers have found that baby sign neither benefits nor harms the language developments of infants. We are committed to guide them to reach higher limits to learn, improve, and grow independently every step by step of the way.
